place a neat dot in the middle
splash ink for a purple sky

paint me a yellow ocean,
with mermaids in spandex fintails
jumping up and down the aqua

daylight stars shining in red
like acne in this purple
high noon on a bleak sunday

then cast this image upon my cranium
move on to screw my sanity
then skew my sobriety

colors have never felt this disjointed
